About White Coat Files

White Coat Files was created to address a gap many aspiring healthcare students face when trying to find meaningful opportunities in Qatar. For many students, it can be difficult to know where to start, what opportunities are available, and which experiences align with their interests and goals.

As the founder of White Coat Files, this was something I personally experienced. Finding relevant opportunities, understanding what to apply for, and navigating the process often felt overwhelming, especially without clear guidance or support.

White Coat Files was built to make that journey easier — for students who are motivated to grow, learn, and take initiative, but may not always have access to the support or direction they need. The aim is to make students feel less alone in the process and provide a space where they can discover opportunities and gain exposure to the healthcare field.

At its core, White Coat Files exists to make opportunities more visible, more accessible, and less gatekept, while supporting students as they explore their path in healthcare.

Our Goals

  • Share healthcare-related opportunities in Qatar in a clear and accessible way
  • Simplify how students discover opportunities based on their interests and level
  • Support students who may not have access to guidance or mentorship
  • Collaborate with institutions to create more opportunities for aspiring healthcare students
  • Encourage initiative, growth, and early exposure to the healthcare field

How It Started

White Coat Files began from a personal experience.

Throughout both high school and university, I often found myself without clear guidance when it came to pursuing a path in healthcare. It was difficult to find opportunities, understand where to start, or know what steps to take. At times, the process felt overwhelming and uncertain.

On May 29th, 2025, I decided to create what I felt was missing.

White Coat Files started as a simple initiative on Instagram, where I began sharing healthcare opportunities in Qatar, along with educational content to help students better understand the field and what they might encounter in clinical environments. Over time, this grew to include interviews with healthcare professionals, offering real insight into different career paths and experiences.

From the beginning, the goal was always to build something more structured and accessible.

White Coat Files exists today because of persistence — choosing to continue building despite setbacks, even when the idea was met with repeated rejection and doubt. There were many moments where it was said that it would not succeed or that it was not needed. Despite this, the vision remained clear.

What I hope every student takes from this is simple. Believe in your vision, even when others doubt it, and keep going.

That vision has now grown into this platform — a centralized space designed to make opportunities easier to find and to support students as they take their first steps into healthcare.
